Rum Don Isidro

A tribute to founder Isidro Bordas (Isidro Bordas S.A., est. 1935). A genuine Dominican rum distilled from local sugar cane, aged 8 years in pre-treated ex-bourbon casks in Santiago — 'Dominican Rum' designation of origin. Single cask (unblended). In the tropical climate spirits mature about three times faster, so these 8 years count for far more. Finished with a method passed down through generations. No added sugar, caramel or colouring — the reddish-brown colour comes naturally from the wood.
