• Mild & light: a gentle cigar (e.g. a Petit Robusto) with an elegant, not-too-sweet rum.
• Medium: round, balanced cigars with an 8–12-year-old rum showing caramel and vanilla.
• Full: full-bodied formats with a long-aged, cask-strength rum that carries the spice.

How to taste, step by step

1. Light the cigar calmly and take the first draws on their own.
2. Sip the rum and let it rest briefly on the palate — small sips, unhurried.
3. Alternate between draw and sip, noticing how the aromas meet.
4. Still water in between keeps the palate fresh.
